PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT THE PDF VERSION - IF YOU WISH TO ORDER THE PDF VERSION CLICK ON THE MANUAL THAT HAS PDF WRITTEN ON IT The Programme for Engagement, Participation and Activities (PEPA) is an evidence-based, programmatic approach to help clients with brain injury increase their engagement and participation in activities that they find meaningful. The PEPA is a complete step by step manual that describes this approach. It guides the clinician in the assessment of their client, and then provides step by step guidance to how they can systematically help their client work towards a meaningful activity goal over an intensive five week period (with further goals thereafter as appropriate). The PEPA is suitable to be used by any qualified and experienced health professional (e.g., neuropsychologist, occupational therapist, rehabilitation counsellor) with knowledge about brain injury. It is designed specifically for people with brain injury who have not been able to return to paid employment and who wish to increase their level of everyday activity, including recreation and social activity. Our purpose is to bring together a multidisciplinary society of researchers, educators, and clinical practitioners to improve the lives of people with conditions impacting the brain and their support networks
