Speaker Profile ... Paul Gertler

Paul Gertler has been in practice since 1999 specialising in behaviour change for a range of clinical and workplace problems. He has a Masters of Clinical Psychology from the University of Sydney and he has worked as a team leader with the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust in England and at the Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney (RRCS) in the Brain Injury Community Rehabilitation Team. He has been in private practice in Sydney since 2003.

 

Paul has successfully treated people experiencing major life changes, anxiety, depression, trauma, disability, chronic pain and illness. Paul specializes in providing comprehensive behaviour support plans and training support workers in behaviour management for people with brain injury and other cognitive impairments.


Paul is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, APS College of Clinical Psychologists (CCP), the Australian Society for the Study of Brain Impairment (ASSBI), the International Neuropsychological Society (INS) and the Australian Association for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (AACBT). Paul has given conference presentations and co-authored research articles and has been a member of the organizing committee for AACBT and ASSBI conferences.
